Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and talented software developer who can take ownership over key features of our product. The team is lean and growing, giving you the opportunity to have autonomy and make a lasting impact. You will work beside talented technical and industry experts who will share their experiences and help guide your development.

Your focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Additionally, you will be part of a team responsible for ensuring data from customers is loaded and maintained with a high level of fidelity into the Idelic platform. This team plans and executes the solutions to integrate customer data into our SaaS transportation platform, and designs solutions to simplify processes, save time and maximize the use of the Idelic platform by customers around the country. You with work directly with customer teams (technical and administrators) to support the extraction of data and own the data transformation and import process.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop software solutions according to technical specifications
  • Contribute to the quality of coding and assure conformance of source codes
  • Communicate effectively with team members
  • Perform peer code reviews

Qualifications and Skills

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES 5/6), including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Experience implementing prevention and detection controls to ensure data integrity
  • Experience handling, analyzing, cleaning, and transferring large data sets
  • Experience with SFTP, FTPS, and other file transfer protocols
  • Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and Mercurial
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with SQL and RDBMS concepts (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and SOLID principles
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Willingness and ability to learn new software platforms as necessary


  • Familiarity with Agile development practices
  • Familiarity with test driven development
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
  • Not afraid to work with UI/UX tasks
  • “Good eye” for front-end design

Experience working in an entrepreneurial environment is a plus.
